Advertising and Marketing Association
The Advertising and Marketing Association provides students with the opportunity to learn about the advertising and marketing industries, as well as career paths in various areas of marketing through speakers, panels, and other events throughout the year. Within AMA is the U.Va. chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF). Each year, AAF offers a nationwide intercollegiate case competition that provides the opportunity to apply classroom theory in the development of an actual ad campaign, including research, total media plan, and creative planning and execution. All interested students are welcome to participate.

Cavalytics Club
The Cavalytics Club is a Student Chapter of the American Statistical Association. In past years it has organized data analysis competitions; winning teams were awarded trips to Annual Meeting to present their posters (two UVA teams won 2nd and 3rd place in 2019!).
Colonnade Capital Partners
Colonnade Capital Partners, LLC is the first-of-its-kind student-owned investment fund at the University of Virginia. Founded in 2015, Colonnade Capital maintains over $100,000 AUM and provides a unique opportunity for University students to serve as Equity Partners within the institution. McIntire Investment Institute (MII)
The McIntire Investment Institute, one of the few student-run investment institutes in the nation, was started in 1994 with a $100,000 gift from John Griffin (McIntire '85). Its purpose is to teach students about investing by using real money; students handle all investment decisions. Participation in MII is open to any U.Va. student.

Smart Woman Securities
University of Virginia Smart Woman Securities (SWS), recent winner of U.Va.’s Best New CIO award and McIntire's 2014 Outstanding Student Organization Award, is the U.Va. chapter of a national organization that seeks to educate women about the fundamentals of investment and finance. The Virginia Case Club (VCC) is a hub for anyone interested in business case competitions to meet and learn from one another, using its proprietary “E4” case program to teach members to excel at case competitions. VFI is dedicated to providing the University of Virginia student body with fundamental financial education programs and leveling the playing field for recruitment opportunities. Through completion of VFI's analyst program, students are added to a resume book that is sent directly to employer sponsors.
