Class of 2015 Destinations Report
The following are first destination statistics for economics majors from the undergraduate Class of 2015. We encourage you to use this information as one piece of your career planning research. Here you will find general salary and industry data and names of employers who have hired economics majors over the last 4 years. You will also find information about graduate school plans.
Students who double-majored in ‘Commerce and Economics’ and ‘Commerce and Engineering’ are included in these calculations, except where noted. If you have any questions/want more details, please contact Jennifer Jones in the Economics Career Office at econ-eco@virginia.edu.
This information is self-reported by our students. 416 economics majors were surveyed and 307 replied (74%). The final data collection was completed on October 2, 2015.

Class of 2014 Destinations Statistics
The following are first destination statistics and data (as of October 3, 2014) for the undergraduate Class of 2014. We have heard from 67% of graduates (212 out of 318) about post-graduation plans. Please note that 50 of our graduates are not included in these numbers because they double-majored in Engineering or Commerce in addition to Economics. (They will be included in the 2015 statistics.)
